corel x3 ungroup

hi all, ungroup is greyed out. how do fix this so i can edit my graphic?

Try the break apart button, it may be combined and need broken apart first.  Post the file if you want someone else to look at it for you.

I believe it is greyed out unless you SELECT a graphic that has parts.  Make a square and a letter in it.  Select all then group.  Then select the object and see if you can then ungroup.

it was a bitmap i traced it and then ungrouped. now i have a bunch of nodes and don't know what to do with them

Click the additional Options right below where you type.

Click on the item, I have CorelDrawX3 and if you do not click on the item the UNGROUP is greyed out but if you click on it then it becomes and option.
