For 8 shirts you're better off to do them in vinyl.

I'd do a design like that up to around 15 or so.  Then I'd get a plastisol price after that.

If its on a colored shirt and the logo is on one side, and one color only I would do them for $4.75 each plus $20 setup fee. That includes the shirt. This is my normal price. I do believe a lot of other screen print shops charge more for small orders.

I'm new so sorry for bringing up old post but I hope some questions can be answered.

Fivestar, you said you'd be better off doing them in vinyl. Did you mean make a vinyl mask for the screen or use a plotter/cutter to cut the design out of heat transfer material? And what is Plastisol?

BTW what do they call the material used in heat transfer material cut on a plotter? Thanks.

I believe what was meant by vinyl was: using a heat press and using a material like thermoflex.

I have done the vinyl on screen for a few shirts, but that's about all you can get out of a screen with vinyl as the mask. Plastisol is the type of ink used for screen printing fabrics. And by plastisol price, I'm assuming that means a cheaper/flat rate price.
