kydj68 0 Posted June 21, 2008 Is there a way to cut an image that is larger than your vinyl. I thought maybe there is a way to cut the image and cut it after the first or will the softwear do this on its own. I got like 24" vinyl but image is 27". Any help you can give would be great. Jay2703 704 Posted June 21, 2008 What program are you using. Signblazer will automatically tile your image. Make sure your vinyl size is set correctly in the cut window setup.
kydj68 0 Posted June 21, 2008 I'm using SBE. I saw a tile button in the cut screen do I need to click it or what?
Jay2703 704 Posted June 21, 2008 Mine just separates it into tiles. You do have to set how much overlap you want.
kydj68 0 Posted June 21, 2008 And where do i set the overlap? And is the overlap the extra that is not cut the first time?
Jay2703 704 Posted June 21, 2008 It is in the cutter setup window. It sets how much the vinyl will overlap when you apply it. If it is set to zero the vinyl will butt up together. If you set it to .25 the vinyl will overlap .25".
kydj68 0 Posted June 21, 2008 cool so most of the time it will set at 0 then right?
Jay2703 704 Posted June 21, 2008 If you set it at say .1 the only time it comes into play is if you are tiling a job. I would just set it to what you want it for tiling and leave it.
