Guest crshirts Posted June 15, 2008 Ok now that I have program installed........doesn't seem to see cutter. I have a Bridge 12" cutter and the Graphtex driver on computer. I have plotter installed as a printer option in windows as per setup instructions. Is there a different driver I need? Currently i cut thru autocad which has its own driver to use and cutter works great. I would like to use and learn the sign software tho.......just so I can say I know how lol Thanks for all the help Carl
mark-s 1,126 Posted June 16, 2008 In the program go to: SETTING then PLOTTER CODES should take you to PLOTTER CODES choose your plotter, port, BAUD RATE SHOULD BE 9600 accept and save. mark-s
Guest crshirts Posted June 16, 2008 I have all that set, but when i do a cut nothing happens. I am using a usb to serial adaptor......if that makes a difference. Maybe i just have to play with it more. Carl
mark-s 1,126 Posted June 16, 2008 Look in your control panel DEVICE MANAGER it should list the usb as a com port 1-2-3 or 4 That is what you set up in your plotter code in Winsign. Use the serial port if you can it`s much better. mark-s
Guest crshirts Posted June 19, 2008 Ok now it sees plotter but just cuts back and forth a couple times. What should be checked in setup box DTR,RTS,DCD,CTS,DRS all of them or just one? My computer just has usb ports thats why i use the usb to serial adaptor. thanks Carl
