Have two of them, I myself can't draw, but my daughter has the BIG one and she can draw ANYTHING, yes they are real nice compared to using a mouse, and you set the sensitivity with it. She uses it with lots of photo programs and with Toon Boom, for animation. The pen has right click left... same as a mouse. I am no good with it, but she flies. You get a wireless mouse with them also.

I recently purchased a Wacom Bamboo off Newegg.com for 66$... It's nice, I like it just haven't had much chance to play with it. Seems like I can get cleaner lines than compared to using a mouse. More precise, just takes a little practice.
