Powerboss 3 Posted August 5, 2017 Hi, I know this isn't Cutter related but I know a lot of you do this work as well. I have this paw that I'd like to create into stickers to put on hockey helmets. It's obviously going to get wet and will be packed in a hockey bag getting bumped around. What would the best way to create these stickers be? With a vinyl cutter? A printer? Sublimation? Any advice is appreciated.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 5, 2017 I would do with cut vinyl - color all the way thru = with the curve of the helmet you will probably need a cast vinyl. you might want to try another decal on one helmet first to make sure they are not made of a low energy plastic because if they are any decal not made with a convex type of material will be on the floor the next morning - but pretty sure they won't be made of that and probably have a hard shiny surface that decals will adhere to
Primal Decals 621 Posted August 6, 2017 Vinyl cutter easily. and do a test like Dakotagrafx suggested. But i wouldnt personally print it.. I had a sticking issue once with kayaks and that was a pain..
