dcbevins 340 Posted June 2, 2015 I was hoping some of you guys and gals might point me to some good vendors for certain items i can't do in house. Namely: Printed Pencils/Pens Buttons Printed Rulers Printed Toy Footballs Anything a politician might want for a campaign. I had found out about Signs365 from these forums. It seems a great resource. They have good prices, fast shipping, one day turn around so I ordered some 4'x4' coroplas signs from them. They did them fast and I got them three days after ordering. Unfortunately they were damaged, probably in shipping but hard to tell. Still, I think the customer will take them, and I can discount them. He hasn't seen them, yet. He threw out his back and I have been waiting to show them to him. Signs365 gave me a fair amount credit for future purchase after I contacted them about the damage. Hopefully the damage was a fluke. I am going to try them again. Here is what the damage looked like if your curious: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/34207516/DSC_2630.JPG The model that Signs365 uses is what I am looking for, but for the items like pens I mentioned. Someone that makes the items but prefers not to sell directly to customers, but work via a sign or specialty vendor. I guess if I can't find someone like that, just a reliable quick outfit would be great. Hopefully you guys might have some suggestions.
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted June 2, 2015 I usually use discountmugs.com but they are not what I'd call fast. BTW I order the standard 18x24 coros almost weekly and none have looked like that. Any chance of trimming the bad edge in house?
Command 97 Posted June 2, 2015 Hi there, I've gotten pencils before for my old company at this website http://www.carolinapens.com/ . I found the quality to be pretty good. As for buttons, a small press from http://www.americanbuttonmachines.com/button-press-machines/ and materials will cost you around $350 if you have a printer already. Buttons are high margin items and probably best to do in house TBH. As for the coroplast, I would suggest getting yellow 3M electrical tape and finishing the top edge if you only have 5. A simple $4 fix from walmart.
