Guest Terry Posted March 23, 2007 I made a racing graphic for a friends trailer, and when I put the transfer tape on it rolls up with kinks in it??? How the heck can I mail it in a tube? Send him the tape to apply
TaterNuts 3 Posted March 23, 2007 This is normal... Try not to Roll it too tight. Also, I have found it best to roll the graphic with the graphic on the out side, and the backing paper on the inside. (flip it over to roll it up) It will need to be re-squeeged when it is at the location before installation. And also probably laid flat for a few hours to elimated the curlness. Guest Terry Posted March 23, 2007 Thank you Tater, I thought maybe I was doing it wrong. I'll flip it and try. Thanks
volkspeed 0 Posted March 23, 2007 Some of the vinyl decals I used to receive in the mail were often rolled like explained above, the graphic on the outside. These ended up working ALOT better than with the graphic rolled on the inside because it had less creases. All I did was re-squegee them a bit and they ended up looking perfect.
