Go-C Graphics 856 Posted December 14, 2013 I've been looking to get a heat press so I can start practicing and making a few of my own shirts. I was planning on ordering this press that Dakotagrafx recommended as a beginner heat press. http://sunie.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=1 $260 With free shipping! But then I ran across this deal from pro world. I searched the forums but couldn't find any reviews. If you buy $299 in heat transfer vinyl you can get the Heat press for $99. http://www.proworldinc.com/discount-transfer-machine Now this doesn't qualify for free shipping so that's going to run about $50 How good is their HTV vinyl? I've only heard people talk about siser HTV here so I don't know how good their vinyl is. Is the heat press any good??? My thought was I was going to be spending $260 on a heat press anyway plus another $50-$100 in HTV. That total comes to $310-$360. So for $450 I can have $300 in material with a heat press also. I'm having trouble figuring out which way is the better deal. Sunie and a small quantity of siser easyweed (Smaller investment) OR The Pro World deal (Higher investment cost) I think I get alot more material for my money My brain hurts. dirttrackin280h 33 Posted December 15, 2013 I don't believe HTV qualifies for the Proworld deal. It has to be $299 in transfers, transfer paper, vinyl lettering, numbers and accessories. I read somewhere that someone asked the same question and Proworld said HTV does not qualify for the offer. I could be wrong. But as for the Sunnie, I purchased the same machine about a month ago and I have no complaints.
Go-C Graphics 856 Posted December 15, 2013 Well I put $300 worth of HTV in my cart and it applied a discount of $200 toward the heat press.
