wavy line / curved line / I don't know what to call it

I want to make a line of text that gently waves horizontally.  HELP?

Also, if I want to cut the dot of an 'i' off of it and replace with a small graphic for instance princess crown or heart -- how

For a wavy text,select the text,click distort,click the correct bezier( if I understand what your trying to do)Grab the red boxes and move them til you get what you want,click select then it will distort.

I'm guessing you can't just select the dot of a i,then delete.

So you can select the text,click node edit,then delete the nodes that make up the dot of the i,then work with whatever symbol you're putting in place of it then move it in place.
