havin trouble creating a decal need help

hey guys i have an image i got off the internect that i vectorized but after i vectorized it i go to insert my text and everything looks good so i got to cut it and it only shows the image not the text how do i get this to work?

You have to have the text and your image the same exact color

How do i do that

Edit + Select All

Select a color from the bottom of the screen.

It will change everything selected to the same color.
