msmix 0 Posted June 25, 2012 I ran my LP 24 for several hours without issue today and suddenly it started making an awful sound when it moved like it was dragging. It makes this sound even when just rotating left to right and feeding vinyl to set origin. I called UC Support and let them listen. When I tried to do a test cut, the cutter seemed confused and headed out across to the left rather than starting at origin. The tech seemed to think it may be the motherboard (he couldn't be sure).This would be an $80 part and something that I may be able to install with a tech talking me through it. The cutter is only 18 months old and has not been used much at all. (It took me months to get going on it and I'm just now really bringing jobs in!) Anybody had this issue before?
