Made a design how do I make it cutable

I made this cartoon catfish. But when i save it as a eps it messes it all up.

I dont use AI but something you can try quick before the pros show up. Try saving it as a version 2 or 3 EPS file.

I tried that. See I want to cut the red outlines out. And when i put it in SB it cuts the main fish outline out and fills it in.
