locknload1 17 Posted May 24, 2012 Based on a majority of these suits and how they usually turn out, the guy will not end up doing any real time. But, he will have a record, pay tons in attorney fees and probably never be allowed to deal with or work in the business EVER again. I did a clothing store job about four years ago for a guy that sold knockoff big name sports team apparal and designer accesories. Within two years of opening he was raided by local PD and FBI agents in swat gear and held at gunpoint (a little overkill if you ask me). Now he's got a smoke shop about two or three miles away and sells knockoff handbags and watches which he displays around the store like they were the real thing.
