muibubbles 2 Posted February 13, 2012 I was having trouble with the font i traced cutting 2-3times and figured out in SBE that there was an outline in my image... Now the question is how do i get rid of this/avoid this before i bring it into SBE? the i was recreating is kinda unique and i couldnt find it so i used the "draw bezier" tool in inkscape to outline the font. After,i went to the object tool bar, i used the "fill and stroke" tool bar to fill in the text. everything looked perfect but then in SBE i sent it to cut and it was making 2-3 passes and cutting the letters out of the paper.... i somehow figured out it was an extra ouline? around the words so i have to select and delete each line individual. what a hassle. I also tried the weld tool in SBE and didnt have any effect..... is the problem in inkscape like i suspect or is it when it gets transfered to SBE that this happens? im saving it as an esp. file. Thanks in advance -Benny

JP Auto N Design 36 Posted February 15, 2012 Try removing the stroke in inkscape. Go to the very bottom left of the inkscape window and right click on the color beside "stroke", then click remove stroke. Also, Insckape has a nice feature where u can view ur workspace as an outline. It helps to see things that you normally may not be able to. To use that feature go to VIEW>Display Mode> Outline.
