Is it a FlexiSTARTER 10 bug?

Recommended Posts

Hi, after several days of trying to calibrate my SECABO C60 III (from Creation) in FlexiSTARTER 10 and never doing it right, I realized that the offset you can set in Flexi when cutting contours is not working properly.

Offset X and Y are using decimals after the comma and Flexi 10 is only taking the integers and not decimals, so the cut can never be accurate when using decimals. Why I know it? because I tried Flexi 8.6 from a friend, who have the same plotter, with mine, using the same offset in 8.6 than 10. The results are that in 8.6 the cut is PERFECTLY accurate and when I use different decimals and measure it, they are correct. But in Flexi 10 the decimals won’t work, it tells the plotter the offset but only will use the integers so when when I cut with offset X 15.1 it uses 15, and 16.9 it uses 16, I measured and compared both cuts with a ruler and the difference between them is always 1mm, not caring for decimals.

Also I realized that in Flexi 10 when you write the offset you have to use a comma for decimals but in Flexi 8.6 you have to use a dot, I think this is where the problem could be.

What can I do?
