slopchops 1 Posted February 6, 2008 Being in the sign business gives you a good start to give away a sign FREE!! A business card is just a little sign and why pay someone to make them when you can do it yourself. It's easy. I use a print program you can get off Ebay for around 10-20 dollars. I have used Printmaster Platimum 8 for many years. It's a very good program for creating artwork and graphics. Also business cards and I make my own anniversary cards etc. also. You can back card stock from Office Depot or other paper supply houses fairly cheap. You can use your own creative juices or if your stumped, browse through ciber space and look at others. Letterheads has some magnificent stuff. Here is mine and I have broke all the rules. I have much, much to much copy on it. I am retired so I just putter around and touch the people and do what I want to. Keeps me from talking to myself. I have bought a huge van and am outfitting it with a inverter and my sign equipment and from business to business and whip out simple signs to make a little cash and have a jolly good chat. I don't recommend business cards like mine but I tell people on the other side of the card what I do and how they will save money and time by calling me. I go to new all businesses, shopping centers, vacant and flip my cards into the mail slots or cracks in the door and wait for the new arrivals. I hope I have posted correctly and it's been a long time since I have used Photobucket.
Benr98 40 Posted February 6, 2008 I have a couple software discs for making the business cards.........comes in handy. The only thing I wish I could do is the raised lettering on the cards...but I can't afford right now to invest in THAT. Oh I have even given away those magnetic business cards, some places really like those. Jenny
