MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 5, 2011 sounds like: Do you have the cutter grounded to the stand, If you have one. Z-Axis Carraige Chip for MH Series Cutter Z Axis Chip for Refine Series Plotters, models: MH365, MH721, MH871, MH1101, MH1351. This chip controls the up/down motion of the carriage arm. If your carriage arm is no longer moving up/down then you will want to first call our support department to confirm that the issue is being caused by the chip, but this will most likely be the part that you need. This part will ship via US postal service for free if your unit is under warranty. http://www.uscutter.com/index/page/product/product_id/1406/category_id/70/product_name/Z-Axis+Carraige+Chip+for+MH+Series+Cutter

mattdonino 0 Posted February 18, 2012 Anyone know if there are directions online for this process? I'm fairly computer repair savvy, but I'd like to know if there's any possible issues? I've noticed online posts with people saying there are at least 3 similar chips in the motherboard. (Although, I'm assuming the markings on the chips are different.) I was kind of hoping when US Cutter sent the chip there would be some form of documentation in the box...
