all systems 0 Posted February 4, 2011 I was wondering if a two layer vinyl cut decal can be laminated for outdoor use? Basically so if it gets washed by hand, the text (small letters) wouldn't get pulled off. This is for a small decal like a car dealership puts on the back of a car. theSignPad 2 Posted February 4, 2011 For something as small as a dealership decal (and possibly for the quantity they would order them in) I would be screen printing them on clear or printing them on clear adhesive. Laminating over a 2 color cut decal would likely look a little odd, and bubble around the edges of the vinyl (similar to pre-layering a decal)
john! 1 Posted February 4, 2011 No need to laminate cut vinyl. It's already made weatherproof and little ends coming up is just the what you need to deal with on small decals in cut vinyl.
