bordings 0 Posted January 5, 2008 If I mainly want to cut smaller decals 6x6 size, is it worth getting a 25" cutter or should I stick with a 12" cutter. Will I waist a lot of vinyl, or can I just stick a 12" piece in there???
mlee8249 0 Posted January 5, 2008 If the cost of the larger cutter is not significantly too much higher for you, get the larger cutter. You will gain on capability for the future. I didn't think I would outgrow my 8-inch cutter because I only used it for radio controlled model planes. But I did and I'm really happy with my 24 inch cutter. And yes, you can stick a 12 inch wide pice in there and cut it. Whatever you do, don't toss out the scraps. The MH721 I have can use just about any size piece as long as the cut job fits on it. bk2design 1 Posted January 5, 2008 Yes, you can use a smaller sheet of vinyl. It all depends on the quantity you want to make. Like I tell people that are asking for opinions when i build them a computer. Don't think about what you're doing now, what might you want to do in the future? I got the pcut 24" and love it!
