ladymare 12 Posted November 29, 2010 Hey all, I think my laser plotter's blade holder is getting stuck in a high pressure position and I was looking at replacing it. I was wondering your thoughts on this as the replacement piece: http://cgi.ebay.com/Roland-blade-holder-Cutting-plotter-holder-3pc-45-/150520463567?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item230bb800cf#ht_786wt_905 My dad has bought from this seller with good luck before but I didn't know if it was worth the ten bucks to give it a go... I was hoping that replacing it with a metal holder would maybe help the longevity of the holder. TIA!!!
locknload1 17 Posted November 29, 2010 I can't speak for the item you gave as an example as I prefer the aluminum/magnetic type offered by US Cutter for about $40-$50 but I will tell you that in my experience it will make a world of difference to go with a holder equiped with bearings. Not sure how I ever did all the stuff I did prior to getting mine.
Jay2703 704 Posted November 30, 2010 Definately a good price if the quality is good. Comes with 3 blades too? Jay
