john! 1 Posted October 31, 2010 Hey guys, I want to get some beanies and hats made for my business but am having a hard time understanding how to digitize a logo. I know everyone i have talked to charges a one time set up fee which is fine but if i can save the file correctly myself i would like to do that so it's set up the way i want it. Now of course i have my logo in vector format but this doesn't really matter from what i have been reading. How exactly does digitizing work? Thanks!
hamlettsigns 0 Posted November 1, 2010 Digitizing for embroidery is a lot different than a vector some of the digitizing programs you can us a vector image and auto digitize but most of the time the results are not that great. Search for stitch era universal it is a free digitizing program for embroidery if you want to play around with it some but it take a lot of practice to get things to sew out right and how you want them to look.
