zbest 0 Posted August 15, 2010 Would love some imput on what it takes to get into doing vinyl wall art. I don't believe it is as easy as it looks. is there a program out there or do you have to be a graphic designer to figure it out? or maybe a program for dummies. I have had alot of vinyl cut for my salon and the two gals that did it for me weren't the sharpest tools in the shed, so I would think I could figure it out, but with all my research I am confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again the only thing I want to do with it is wall decor and crafting. I have a cricut, but it doesn't do the fun fonts and sayings. Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 15, 2010 Download this free software and play with it. it is pretty easy but there is a learning curve, not like printing http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=30&nav=0,
rrc1962 0 Posted August 15, 2010 If you're asking if it's easy to cut vinyl graphics, then the answer is yes, there is software that does all that for you. However, no amount of money you spend on software will magically make you an artist. If you have no artistic ability, then you may struggle a bit. The CriCut is just a vinyl cutter. It will cut what ever you send to it, including fun fonts and sayings.
