Stlouistech 2 Posted August 4, 2010 I have a AI file that I am trying to clean up... When in Illustrator, I choose the eraser...then as soon as I erase something and let go of my mouse button it leaves a damn outline of where I just erased..It seems the thicker line I erase, the thicker line it leaves as soon as I let go of the mouse button..Does anyone know how to fix this or know what this is called so that I can look it up..I don't know exactly what that is called. hockeygirl 30 Posted August 5, 2010 If you're editing a vector file, do not use the eraser tool, but delete the nodes and/or vectors. Click on the hollow arrow to select each individual node, etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
