cutting with on-the-fly variable pressure?

Do any cutters out there have the ability to change the cutting pressure "on the fly" as a design is being cut?  I'd like to have the ability to "score" parts of a design for folding in addition to cutting on the same piece of paper.  Thanks in advance!

I don't think so.  That would have to be controlled by the cutting software and I haven't seen that feature, even in the high end software.  If I wanted to do this, I would create the cut line and score line vectors in different colors.  Adjust the cutter to a light pressure and cut the score lines.  Then re-adjust to the heavier pressure and cut the cut lines.

Or cut the score lines as dashed lines by simply setting the stroke to a dashed line for the ones you want to use as fold lines.

the graphtec FC series can change the pressure and do half cuts and perforated cuts that you could use to fold the portions of the decal you are wanting to.

my seiki can adjust pressure and speed while cutting.
