jchatman 0 Posted June 8, 2010 A friend wants a sign for her mother in law, Betty's box turtle farm. They want it small so it is 2' wide and 13" high. I was going to cut out the shape on some MDO and prime it. Then paint the back ground green. Next not sure to paint the rest or use vinyl. I'm trying to be cost effective for a friend but not sure what to charge. What do you think?
tinaski 11 Posted June 8, 2010 Are you talking about painting the magnet? No just order green magnet. For a friend I would do 30 a set
jchatman 0 Posted June 8, 2010 thinking about 1/2 inch plywood(mdo)board. Sorry for any miss understanding. They want to hang it up in her flower garden. Thanks!
tinaski 11 Posted June 9, 2010 o sorry my mistake you can paint it i would use an oil base that is alot thicker and holds up good the board isnt cheap - and i would make them in an easy size to make here i can get a piece 4'x4' so i would make them to fit that size how many? there will be a little time involved and how good are you with a skill saw? really depends on how close of a friend they are very close double the price of the MDO not very close 4-5 xs
jchatman 0 Posted June 9, 2010 Skill saw skill is ok. Real good friend. I was thinking outdoor latex or One Shot. I was leaning towards $100 for it. and it was only one sign for her mother inlaw. Thanks.
