sjane_xoxo 0 Posted June 7, 2010 Hey just been setting up a PCUT CR630 on windows vista (using Artcut 2009) and when we go into the cut/plot option it comes up with the Write to Cutter MFC application not working and wont let us do anything. Any hints or tips? Its like its stopping the communication from the cutter (its a USB connection not a COMM PORT) and I have no idea how to work around it,doesnt look like the CR630s work on SBE either. Any helps would be amazing! Thanks, Sara-Jane

CRD 9 Posted June 9, 2010 Did you checked the baudrate on the machine is on 9600 not 19200? Tell us where you get stuck ( Chapter number ) when you use SBE and the new bie manual. This way we can assist easier. Paco
sjane_xoxo 0 Posted June 27, 2010 HI Paco, My main problem when using SBE is becuase its a usb and not comm port it just sends random lines of text to the printer. maybe becuase its a new model and not listed before the last update maybe? Its the CR630 so is giving me a few hassles. I works fine with XP but just hates vista, wont even get started with windows 7...

CRD 9 Posted June 28, 2010 Sara-Jane, Your setting for Xp, Vista and W7 should be a all the same and should work when using either real comport always Com 1 or Com2 or USB>virtual comport always 3 or higher at 9600, n,8,1 as mentioned in the New bie manual. Does regular cutting works with either one of the OS? To be honest I never used the PRINT/CUT function with SBE. I assume you like to print and then contour cut or do I understand wrongly? rnrc 0 Posted July 7, 2011 Bringing this back from the archives! I'm having the same problem, xp with signblazer elements and UK, CR630 with usb only. When I hit cut it will only Que the printer. There is no setting for CR630 in signblazer. I would like to know how sjane got it to work with xp. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rich
