Do a search on "Slashing", "cuts across vinyl", "Unwated Cuts", etc. Or just browse through the support section, you will find several posts on this exact subject. Most have found it to be a static problem. Turning off the weeding box in your software sometimes helps. Grounding the plotter to the stand with the supplied grounding wire has fixed mine.
