Just wanted to see if this is a good printer to use for screen printing?

This printer is really meant for photos.. It has the photo black, matte black and gloss top coat inks in the system which I do not think would fair well with making t-shirt transfers.. It is pigment ink but this printer is also discontinued.. As far as screen printing I am unsure but on transfers I would pass..

When you say screen printing, are you using it to print on a transparency to burn the screen? That's the only application that I can think of using an inkjet for screen printing. In that case, you'll only need black ink.

Sorry I should have made myself more clear. I would only be using this to make the screens not for actual transfers.

If you're using it to make the screen, make sure you're only printing in black and white and you may need to adjust the saturation level higher to make sure the lines are very black to burn a clean screen.
