Kurd615 0 Posted December 13, 2007 I have the Superman logo that I want to do in two colors. I am using Macromedia Freehand by the way. I am trying to do the outline in chrome and the inner part in white. I cannot figure out how to do this. I also have Inkscape but I do not use that much. If anyone knows how to do this, please help me. All the help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
dgreenh 9 Posted December 13, 2007 Not sure exactly what you are looking for but here is a 2 color superman logo vetorized and trimmed. The red and yellow can be changed to whatever you want i.e. chrome and white. I wouldn't have a clue on how to do that in Freehand. :notsure: superman.eps superman.eps
dgreenh 9 Posted December 13, 2007 Here is a way to do it in Inkscape with a black and white image Open your image and select it Path > Trace Bitmap (Trace window opens up) click the update button to make sure you are tracing what you want Click OK Exit the Trace window Click on the image and move it over Click on the image that was under it and delete it Now you just have your vectorzed image on the screen Click on the image and select Path > Break Apart Everything will turn black Click on the edge of the image and change the color to any odd color Now you should see the inside pieces in black. Change the inside colors to whatever you want them to be Now change the outside color to what you want. Save it as an eps. Should end up with a 2 color image ready to cut. Might not make any sense. It is really easier to do than to explain.
