TSQUIRTZ 0 Posted April 8, 2010 Has anyone upgraded to X5 and is there improvements enough to merit the cost?
CRD 9 Posted April 8, 2010 No, but I am waiting for a trial version first to try then decide. Paco

TSQUIRTZ 0 Posted April 14, 2010 Paco did you try the auto-trace? Was it any better than x4?
CRD 9 Posted April 14, 2010 I did but could not find any major difference. But I have to say I not use the trace function that much as I mostly newly design. If you like me to trace an image let me know. Paco
pitkin2020 1 Posted April 15, 2010 X5 is better for speed I beleive especially if you have dual core + as it actually uses the processors better than x4 (that was what I was told anyway). I never used x4 but find x5 quite easy to use and very intuitive compared with illustrator.
CRD 9 Posted May 1, 2010 I could not find any speed difference compared to X4. At the end I removed X5 as for my workflow it was not any better then the X4. Paco
