Help plotter not communicating

We have been working on this for a week or so now.  We can not get the plotter and the computer to communicate.  We are using the USB connection.  The instructions for setup are for pcs, but we have a mac.  Are there specific instructions for a mac?  Also the usb cord included with our plotter wasn't even being recognized, we had to go buy a new cord, but there is still a communication error.  It recognize a serial on the new cord, but there is still a communication error.  When we are in signcut and send a file to cut nothing happens.  Can someone help??

Not sure about a mac...but i had the same problem...i used the serial rather than usb also...i just misread and put it on lpt instead of com....maybe check to see if thats the problem...

There are MAC and other drivers (linux) for the copam USB driver listed at this link. Try it out and let us know how it works for you.
