mwdesigncreate 0 Posted March 6, 2010 Got my computer to recognize the cutter (laserpoint 24"), but now I can't get it to cut my first cut. Every time I hit the "cut" button in SignCut, the head on the cutter moves all the way to the left and hits the red button... which I'm guessing is a safety-stop button? I'm using the pen to try and plot/cut my name out 1st, before I try using the blade. How can I make it stop hitting the red button? When it hits the red button, the screen says "waiting", and can't get it to go back online unless I turn off the machine, and manually move the head over a bit away from the red button!!! MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted March 6, 2010 put the head to the far right and HIT ORGIN that is the HOME starting point. Cutter cuts from Right to left. Takes some time and read the NEWBIE manual that is what it is for, You need to walk before you run...
