MH871 Only cutting part of the design

It stops in the middle of cutting, all that is being cut is 27 words and after about 9 to 12 it just stops

serial or usb?  Stand grounded to cutter???

USB via Keyspan and cutter is on a surge protector or has an adapter for the ground

but did you run a wire from the cutter to the stand so the static doesn't build up in the stand and cause problems?

no...........how would i do that? Its on a hard wood floor though.

Just run a wire from any metal part of the cutter to a screw on the frame.

Your best to clean off the paint under the wire...

The hardwood floor doesn't keep the static from building in the stand - this wire will keep that from happening
