Save Cutting Speed and DownForce

Recommended Posts

First of all,  I love this cutter.  I started using these lower cost China made units and have not been unhappy.  This is a good cutter for the money.

My only gripe is having to remember to reset the speed and downforce for each boot..  I just hate running off a job only to realize I used the wrong cutting force.

First,  can this cutter save the last settigns?  I don't see that it will when you set speed and force.

Second is there a command to set speed at 48 and force at 190 via the plot file?

I use SignGo and EasySign.  I dont' use SignCut.  (Marcel,  there are way too many hoops to jump thru on the signcut install.  Check with SignGo for thei OEM deal.  I know the guy and can put you two together).

Thanks,

Bill

The speed and force should be retained as long as the unit is on, unfortunately it does reset to defaults after powering off. As far as I know it can only be adjusted on the plotter itself.

Yes the registration for Signcut is a pain but I think they are working on improving that. Already in the new software packages they have included better instructions for registering. Marcus would be the one to work out any software deals. I?m sure he will read this post eventually but feel free to send him a personal message if you like. His user name is marcuso
