tc3jg 1 Posted December 14, 2009 Hello everyone Yes I know this is a repost and im sorry but I have searched and am getting tired of not finding the thread I know I have seen on here before. But every now and then I cut something with the P-cut and it actually goes across the graphic and leaves a line across it or through a letter. It doesn't do this on everything I cut though and the line isn't all the way through most of the time. I don't know if this is the problem or not but is it possible the blade holder is sticking? would that be enough pressure to actually score my vinyl?
Guest Hugo Valencia Posted December 14, 2009 try pressing online and going to x and y movement screen, then move the carriage around and see if it scores the material
tc3jg 1 Posted December 15, 2009 No hugo it does not score it when you do that only when its cutting and it goes to another side of the graphic to start cutting.
CRD 9 Posted December 16, 2009 If the knife holder is not energized it should be up. Then there must be 5 mm space between the tip of the knife and the cuttingstrip. If not your knife holder is placed to low in the cutterarm. Movement up and down of the cutterarm is 8 mm +/- Paco
