paulzeee 1 Posted October 30, 2009 I bought a PCut and it came with this stand: I think the brackets are drilled wrong cause there are two issues with them. - The provisions on the bracket where the cutter mounts dont line up - The provisions on the bracket to mount to the stand dont line up If the bracket is mounted like this: ...on the outside, the roller is too short. If the bracket is mounted the other direction (like the directions show), on the inside of the stand then the rollers are too long (if i redrilled the bracket this could be a work around) anyone else have this issue?? I called PCUT and their support wasn't the best.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted October 30, 2009 have you thoroughly read this? http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=10&nav=
paulzeee 1 Posted October 30, 2009 Yes. I'm either reading something wrong or the brackets are drilled wrong. I've tried every combination i could think of.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted October 30, 2009 am I looking at something wrong?, you do have the rollers at the back of the machine don't you. ? They do not go to the front. They should be behind your machine.. maybe picture not real good angle, hard to tell
paulzeee 1 Posted October 30, 2009 In that picture the machine is on the floor.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted October 30, 2009 sorry, by your picture, I cannot help you,,,
Jay2703 704 Posted October 30, 2009 I think the holder arms need to go inside of the vertical support legs. Looks like you have them on the outside. Could you have the vertical supports turned 180?
paulzeee 1 Posted October 30, 2009 They do, but when i have them on the inside then the rollers are too long. I'll take better pictures.
tekcorps 50 Posted October 30, 2009 paulzee, Look at the pic I supplied. The cutter mounting brackets are on the inside of the uprights. The roller holding arms stick out the back and cutter faces forward.
paulzeee 1 Posted October 30, 2009 Gotcha, when i get home ill take pictures of them mounted like that as well. Even with them mounted on the inside of the stand there are still issues.
the vinyl tree 0 Posted October 31, 2009 hey paulzeee , don't know whether this will help at all but ive attached the pic of my p-cut 1200 stand and maybe this will shed some light on things. and dont worry i spent an hour and a half just trying to put the stand together when i first got mine and it took a gentle persuasion to get it to fit (if you get my drift ) so im not surprised to here that your having probs pete

paulzeee 1 Posted October 31, 2009 Thanks for those pictures guys! I finally figured it out. I had the legs backwards.... If you look closely there is a side with a wide channel and a narrower channel. The narrow channel faces in making the bracket mount closer to the legs allowing everything to fit. Now im waiting for vinyl and im sure ill need more help. Thanks again y'all
tekcorps 50 Posted October 31, 2009 ahhhhh yes! I see exactly what you mean. Great photos by vinyl tree. Glad you got it figured out paulzeee!
