Making Letters Thicker

What would be the best way to make the letters thicker in font?  I am having issues with the curly fonts being so thin.  Any suggestions?  Thanks so much!!

go to edit, manipulate.. with the curlz font and things like that i usually only do about .02 to make it thicker

I tried that and selected the word and it gave me a crazy looking shape...  Any suggestions?

select outline, de-select "keep original" and play with the thickness setting

For some reason, the word is still looking like a big blob.

sometimes takes some playing on the curly fonts. what font are you using (curlz mt?), size and word? i'll see what i can do for ya.

Thanks!  yes, it's Curlz MT.  I am trying to make the name Lilly thicker because of the thin letters.  I am trying to do a 1.5" name because it is going on a light switch cover.

on curlz like that it limits how much outline you can do cause it starts to close up in the swirls. this is about as thick as you can get it without it blending together. wasn't sure on spelling
