VinylMafia 0 Posted August 26, 2009 After I get done with tracing an image and save it as a eps. file I try to open it with Win PC Sign and it looks like a grey box.... any suggestions? Thank You!! I posted the eps. file that I traced. 44.eps 44.eps
cutme 5 Posted August 26, 2009 will this work for you? i imported your image into illustrator then saved it as an eps. i then imported that file into signblazer, fixed a couple of weird nodes and exported it as a jpeg and eps. bb 44-1.eps 44-1.eps
VinylMafia 0 Posted August 26, 2009 yes that worked great, I just dont understand why I cannot get my eps. files to get into WINPC Sign from Inkscape

cutme 5 Posted August 26, 2009 yes, as a never ending trial version. it is a full working basic version that will run most of uscutters plotters. and it is a great piece of software. bb
richardson 5 Posted December 2, 2009 I use winpc too and I cant open anything from inkscape, I still use it but then save it as a eps, then have to open in corel draw and save that as a eps, then I can open the one from corel to cut with winpc. its a pain but it works for me
mark-s 1,126 Posted December 3, 2009 Most (99%) of eps files either have to be opened and resaved in Corel(EPS) or Illustrator(AI8) to be imported into WinPCsign. I think it`s because WinPCsign is a bit behind the times. I do all my designing and rework in WinPCsign only because it`s faster for me. I have been using WinPCsign for about 6 yrs now. mark-s
yesrno1 6 Posted March 19, 2010 i tryed everything to vectorize a project correctly, and ended up doing it with winpcsign pro and it finally turned out right, give the vectorization a chance next time. Just my two cents....
Robert H. Bigart 64 Posted March 19, 2010 Hi Guy Try saving it from Inkscape in Postscript .ps then load it into GSview and save as DXF cad format and then try to load inti Win PC as .dxf file. I dont know if this will work but think it might. Bob Bigart
