Is there anything illegal about making stripes for cars and the tribal stuff?

Hello, just thought I'd check to see if you guys know if it's ok to do the tribal stuff for cars, etc and the stripes and stuff?  Just thought I'd double check to see what you guys think with all the talk about law suits and stuff lately.  Thanks for your input!

is ok, as long as you are not using someone else's copyrighted material/designs.  Not hard to make your own patterns for stripes..

Actually, designing your own with the customer there is a lot of fun.

I take a picture of the their car and import it.

That way, when I start making the graphic, they can see it right on their car.

I have a few that have loved doing that.  They feel involved........
