cutter screen not displaying anything on screen

Hi I am new to this I just started setting up my cutter & the screen will not display any info on it what does that mean & how do I fix it.

Sounds like it may be a hardware issue but I am sure ken or one of the other guys will be able to give you more advice on that.

My screen blanks out every now and then.  It doesn't effect the cutting although if you needed change any settings then you would have a problem.  Power off and on always seems to bring mine back to life.  I haven't looked into the possibility of it being a loose cable or bad connection.
