Questions from someone looking to get in small time business

And I do mean small time.  I don't plan to buy big right away, but to get something and learn by making some window logos, signs, and magnets, but as someone that has no experience at all, I have a few questions for super beginners.  Hope no one finds this annoying, but I have a few questions that a search may be too time consuming.

1 - Do most or all plotters use software that is somewhat easy to learn to use, such as Adobe or Corel?  I understand that Vector files are needed for most or all plotters, and I've not used that type of software before.

2 - In these plotter specific software packages, are .ttf (windows true type fonts) able to be used or must you have fonts specific to Vector images?

3 - How hard is it to start creating, say, an auto windshield vinyl sticker, right away?

4 - Any other important information you may want to pass along would be helpful!

1) If I was you try sbe. But if you have illy or corel that is no problem.

2) any font can be used
