stryker1 0 Posted April 10, 2009 When cutting as the vinyl advances in X, my vinyl catches in the groove in the front of the machine. Any suggestions?
Cre8tiveCutter 7 Posted April 10, 2009 the pcut is the same way so what I did was put a clear piece of tape all the way across it, others have used vinyl. Someone mentioned that lip on the cutter is for a vinyl catcher/basket thinger...lol. Renee
sarconastic 29 Posted April 11, 2009 that lip and the one right in front of the cut strip, and the same two slots onthe back are to hold the tray for the flat sheet trays that you can buy to put on the machines. check out this link to see them. http://www.uscutter.com/Flatbed-Tray-for-Creation-PCut-Set-of-2_p_403.html But your right, some kind tape over the slot sure helps. don't forget to cover the one on the backside of the unit if you are cutting pieces off the roll to cut. stryker1 0 Posted April 13, 2009 Thanks, I have been using it as a cutting slot to trim of the vinyl from the roll, but would much rather use it to adapt a small table.
