Junkman 0 Posted April 10, 2009 I have a friend that wants a few signs for his business. One for the rear window of his truck simple lettering 10 inches high by 24 wide on white vinyl. The second is a 24inch tall by 8 foot long fo a box truck (same design just scaled up) Since I am new to this I want to be fair but still make a small profit or break even just to get my work out there. firemalt 10 Posted April 10, 2009 If you want to just break even, you can charge the cost of material plus $20 or so per hour that it takes to get the job complete. If you want to make a profit, you can charge a $25 setup fee, 2 or 3 times the cost of material, and then $45 per hour that it takes to complete the job.
