USB Drivers on Windows Vista with PCut

Recommended Posts

Hello.  I've just purchased a PCut CT900 and I'm in the process of installing the drivers on my laptop which has windows vista.  the problem I'm having is that it is installing the driver on COM11 or COM12 and the SignBlazer software only lists up to COM8 in the cutter setup section.  Is there some other way of setting this up or am I doing something wrong?  I'm a noobie here and am trying like heck to get this thing up and running.  ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any information.

Ed

Change the COM port # to 8 or lower, but not 1 or 2.

Device Manager/ Ports/ Right click on the USB Serial Port/ Port Settings/ Advanced

Thanks for the help Ken.  I've got my PCut CT900 running FINALLY!!!  I really like it and am looking forward to getting more out of it.  I'll be placing an order with US Cutter within the next two weeks.

Thanks again!
