Are there specific settings needed? My images look distorted

I have a new PCut and am using SB.  When I type in text to cut or even import an image, the text looks 'squished' for lack of a better word.  As far as the settings, do I need to change something?  I think the compression (probably not right word) setting is at 59.

The compression setting is a percentage of the width of the copy.  It should normally be set at 100%.

Thanks.  I hadn't messed with it and each time I log into SB, it comes up as .59 so I changed it.

I have seen times when the text looks "off" on my images as well. But when I cut them, they come out fine. Seems to be a problem with the WYSIWYG rendering screen.

try calibrating the cutter and software by doing this...

if that does not work, then you may have too much slack in the feed roller drive belt.
