keleland 0 Posted August 10, 2007 I am trying to figure out how to create and outline of the image. I know how to trace and such...BUT...this is the problem: There are times when my letters overlap or images and they cut into each other. From far away (once applied) you can't tell but I don't like how it looks...it drives me batty. So, how do I trace JUST the full outline instead of each image? Bigmac 1 Posted August 10, 2007 I know CS2 is a little different. What I do is after creating the outline I select OBJECT> PATHFINDER> UNITE, This should create one outline. I know there is a different tool bar in CS2 but if you look thru you tool bars and fine unite of merge, this should do it. Hopes this helps Good luck Bigmac
keleland 0 Posted August 10, 2007 Under OBJECT the closest thing to PATHFINDER that I have is PATH and then there is not a UNITE.
Bigmac 1 Posted August 10, 2007 Heres what I would do next. Click on help > index then type in unite or merge this should tell you how to do a unite or merge. I know there is defference between 7.0 and CS2 but the commands are basicly the same, just located under different tool bar menus good luck bigmac :chopper:
