mebner 0 Posted March 5, 2009 I need someone to help explain to me how to import a graphic into signblazer using illustrater
midwaste 4 Posted March 5, 2009 Dont bother importing, just copy/paste from illustrator right into SB. Text needs to be outlined and it helps to have everything as compound objects. I typically outline text, ungroup, and use Pathfinder to combine it all as a compound object, Expand. Check the Illustrator software thread for more info. There are a few quirks, but copy/pasting is the only way to go.

JimB 0 Posted April 4, 2009 I also save as .EPS and import into SBE. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I save my .EPS in Illustrator 8 (Legacy Mode). Newer versions may very well work, but I seem to remember someone mentioning that he had to use Ill 8 version for it to work. I haven't tried otherwise, but Ill 8 .EPS does work.
