unkes60 0 Posted August 7, 2007 The Refine MH 721 that I just bought a few weeks ago sounds like it is an alien spaceship that is about to die. I don't mind if that is how it is supposed to sound, it cuts wonderfully. I just want to make sure that it is okay, not that I sit here and let it go to h*#%. I'm used to using a Roland at work so the difference in sound might just be throwing me off. -Stephanie
kenimes 42 Posted August 7, 2007 The MH721 is one of the louder cutters you will ever hear. Some say it sounds like R2-D2 from Star Wars. Others have said it sounds like an arcade in the background. It is just noisy, nothing to worry about. If the cutting part is having an issue and it is making weird sounds, that is when there might be an issue.
