onefootoff 0 Posted February 4, 2009 I just got a laserpoint used yesterday and I'm having trouble. For starters when I first turned it on, it displayed "online" now it has a bunch of squares in place of letters. It printed a test page but will not come back online nor cut anything in sign blazer, help troubleshooting? I would so appreciate it. Thanks. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

haumana 1,220 Posted February 5, 2009 Welcome to the forum. Little black squares usually mean that the blade carriage is pressing down upon one of the red "kill" buttons. That's to prevent the motor from burning out if what you're trying to cut is outside of the cutting width. That can usually be fixed by repositioning your start position. I suggest that you add to your forum profile signature some of the equipment you're using so that we can help troubleshoot things in the future faster (i.e. PC of Mac, operating system, cutting software, etc.).
